Tina attended South Texas College of Law and focused her coursework on advocating for others. She represented South Texas as a varsity advocate in numerous mock trial and moot court national competitions. In 2014, Tina, along with her mock trial teammates, brought a first place National Championship Title back to South Texas from the Peter J. Johnson National Civil Rights Trial Competition. Tina also received many advocacy awards during her time at South Texas.
Tina’s interest in family law began during her studies at the University of Houston Clear Lake where she received a Master’s of Science in Education. During her graduate coursework, she developed a strong passion to be an advocate for those who could not advocate for themselves.
Tina received her mediator’s certificate from the Frank Evans Center for Dispute Resolution. Her training in mediation and dispute resolution allows Tina to amicably and successfully advocate for her clients. Tina interned for Justice Tracy Christopher of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals. Tina received first-hand experience of what happens behind the bench, giving her an understanding as to the approach and preparation she needs to vigorously advocate for her clients.
Tina is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and Houston Young Lawyer’s Association.Get In Touch With Tina Floridia
